LOOK UP / My life as a woman in Denmark and Greenland

As part of the project My Life as a Woman in Greenland and Denmark/ LOOK UP, Vibeke Falden and Kristina Kristoffersen created an electronic live work based on personal statements from Greenlandic women.

We performed the work for the first time on 18 June 2026 at the Main Library in Aalborg, and again on 25 August at C.W. Obels Plads as part of the photography exhibition.

The project was created by Reden Aalborg, with a focus on giving Greenlandic women space to share their own stories and creating greater understanding of their lives and experiences.

Here you can read more about the project and Reden’s work, and explore the personal statements that formed the starting point for our musical work.
